Description

We are looking for a Principal Planning Officer to join the Archival Business Operations team in this important role.

You will be an integral part of a small team and work with a range of internal and external stakeholders providing strategic advice and support relating to the planning functions at QSA.

In this role you will:

Undertake highlevel research and analysis to formulate solutions that support the Department's planning and reporting framework
Develop and implement projects and initiatives to ensure QSA meets its planning responsibilities
Support QSA's Leadership Team by ensuring that the planning function aligns to QSA's strategic and operational priorities and activities
Develop QSA's strategic planning, business planning and operational plan
Develop, implement, and continuously improve organisational risk management and business continuity planning that align with the Department's Risk and Business Continuity processes
Develop and maintain a Workforce Plan aligned to the QSA Strategic Plan to achieve whole of business improvements which generate organisational capacity
Research and prepare complex reports, ministerial correspondence, submissions, briefing notes and correspondence on a range of corporate issues and represent QSA on committee and working groups as required
Liaise with departmental contacts to ensure consistent practice and maintenance of professional knowledge.
