Our client is national, acquisitive and fast growing.

Their finance team seek to hire a business savvy Payroll Officer to support them as they continue to grow and expand.

This role will work in a close knit team of (3) payroll professionals and provide end to end payroll services for an organization with approximately 450 employees.

About the Role
Supporting and working closely with the GM of Finance, some of the key accountabilities for this role include:

Performing the accurate payroll for up to 400 employees p/week;
Responsible for Superannuation, PAYG Withholding Tax, Single Touch Payroll and payroll deduction payments;
Maintaining employee records and updating all data related to the payroll function;
Ensuring compliance with legislation and awards; and
Ad hoc duties as directed by the Administration Manager

About you
You will ideally bring the attributes to the role:

At least 2 -3 years' experience as a Payroll Officer within a medium organisation;
Previous experience with highvolume endtoend payroll;
Previous experience using Traffio, Preceda or Pronto (not essential);
Good Excel skills;
Demonstrated ability to be flexible, well organised and display initiative to improve practices;
Be extremely proficient with advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite;
Demonstrated capacity to work autonomously and to approach activities with initiative; and
Ability to work in and contribute to a team environment.
