An exciting opportunity is avaiable for a permanent Manager Education and Learning - Nursing at Western Health. This is a senior management position that offers the opportunity to develop your educational and leadership skills. This role leads a team of education coordinators who lead teams of educators and clinical support nurses.


To be Successful in this Role,
you will have:

  • Registered in Division 1 with AHPRA and current Practicing Certificate
  • Demonstrate successful completion of a Post Graduate Certificate/Diploma in Nursing
  • Masters of Education (or working towards)
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a clinical or educational leadership role
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical nursing skills and knowledge
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and leadership skills including problem solving, conflict resolution, negotiation and teaching
  • Demonstrate leadership abilities in encouraging and motivating their team to perform at their best by creating an environment of trust in the team and leading with compassion and kindness
  • Demonstrate commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Demonstrate understanding of professional and clinical issues
