Australian Client Group

  • The Australian Client Group is dedicated to building and servicing Institutional clients in the Australia region. The team consists of sales, client service, business development, product management, consultant relations, product strategy and development, marketing and support team members, split across AB's offices throughout Sydney and Melbourne. The Australian team works closely with AB's global offices, in particular New York and London, and various offices in the region.

  • Team Assistant Responsibilities
  • The Team Assistant directly supports three Managing Directors within the Client Group and support to the VP/MD Head of Marketing. This includes various administrative support, dedicated client service responsibilities and ad hoc tasks.

This includes, but is not limited to:

Sales support:

  • Coordination of travel arrangements (domestic & international) and submission of monthly expenses for the Managing Directors and secondary support to senior members of the Australian Client Group on an ad hoc base.
  • Assist the client service team with maintaining client details within Salesforce database.
  • Assist the Sales/Marketing team with adhoc administrative tasks including conference/sponsorship support, promotional merchandise and coordination of corporate branded stationery.
  • Undertake the coordination of meeting schedules, prep/briefing packs, presentation materials and travel logistics for international visitors. This will require coordination with overseas offices. Onsite catering and meeting room logistics while visitors are in the region.
  • Assist with meeting coordination including scheduling, room bookings/set up and audiovisual logistics. Assisting and updating PowerPoint presentations for client meetings and coordinating the review of such materials with the relevant compliance team.
  • Coordination of adhoc external client and internal staff events, including invitation mailing and tracking, venue selection, coordination of required supporting materials, oversight of the event, etc.
  • Working with the offshore facilities team in Hong Kong to oversee facility issues in the Sydney office. Monthly meetings and adhoc requests as needed

  • Assist with ordering and managing office & pantry supplies.

Marketing support:

  • Fund communications: manage the monthly production and distribution of fact sheets, and work with the global commentary team on localising monthly fund commentary
  • Website maintenance support:
perform regular/quarterly reviews and update and manage the Insights article updates

  • AB brand building:

by supporting the development and execution of digital assets, fund and marketing collateral production, conference planning and presentation support.


Due to the responsibilities noted above, the Team Assistant must build effective working relationships both within and outside the team.

Further, it is critical that the Team Assistant is proactive in their oversight and performance of the above responsibilities.
