The Firm


Monica Clare Recruitment is partnering with a Mechanical Engineering firm based in Newcastle for a global company with headquarters based in North America.

They have built a strong local reputation with an extensive repeat client base working across the agricultural, mineral, and aggregate processing industries.


The Role


As a result of continuous growth, our client is seeking an experienced Mechanical Draftsperson to join their highly successful Engineering, Design, and Project Management team.

In this role, you will be responsible for providing detailed drawings and mechanical 3D models using inventor software whilst working alongside some of the best experts in the industry.


About you

  • Trade qualified will be highly regarded but not essential
  • Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalent fields
  • Strong Inventor competency skills
  • Minimum 7 years relevant experience
  • Ability to multitask and manage your own projects
  • Proven ability to problem solve and high attention to detail
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong professional work ethic
