The telecommunications industry is going through an exciting and dynamic phase with high volumes of deployments.

Due to the continued high growth and importance of projects, we are working with a number of clients to appoint Rigger/technicians to work on some of the largest projects in Australia.


What will you have to do?

  • Carry out all primary Maintenance & Upgrades, including fixed & wireless technologies functions:
  • Ordering, maintaining, and refuelling DG (diesel generator)
  • Recording the running hours, connecting the temporary generator to the site
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance of Sites, Antennas, Feeders, Groundings, Rectifiers, Batteries, emergency generators and other Site Support Systems.
  • Temporary fixes for the Site infrastructure, e.g. fences, climbing obstructions.
  • Testing and repairing external alarms, lights, fuses, and AC systems.
  • Preventive maintenance of site equipment
  • Network optimisation & reporting on faults and fixes of site support systems
  • Supports Field Operations & Planning Engineers and maintains Site Folders
  • Support and manage Spare Part Management.

You should have:


  • Heights & First Aid Training
  • EME Hazard Training
  • Basic Technician Tools (screwdrivers, pliers, side cutters, multimeter etc.) and Mobile phone & SIM

Our Client will provide:


  • Tower Rescue Training
  • PPE (shoes, vest, hardhat & gloves)
  • RADHAZ meter & any specialised tools, PIM tester, Site Master
  • Laptop
