Rugby League is Australia's most entertaining and popular sport, and the Illawarra is truly rugby league heartland. Illawarra District Rugby League Football Club Limited administers the local game and operates Steelers
Licensed Club.

Steelers provides a variety of entertainment choices including bars, dining, events and function rooms to members, their guests, our community and visitors.

The Club's purpose is to fund grassroots Rugby League administration, local competitions, sponsorships, promotion, community engagement and pathways for elite athletes into the St George Illawarra Dragons team in the NRL.

The Club is in the heart of the Illawarra Sports and Entertainment Precinct, adjacent to Win Stadium and the Wollongong Entertainment Centre, making it a prime location for delivering exceptional entertainment experiences.

The Board are now looking for a commercially astute General Manager to take Steelers to the next level and manage evolutionary change.

Their sound financial position and prime location provide the optimal canvas to build brand loyalty and reimagine the venue's service proposition.

This all-encompassing role will suit an ambitious hospitality industry leader with intellect and gravitas who brings energy, commerciality, creative flair and an infectious determination to deliver superior service and financial success.
