(HE04) $66,260 - $72,627 per annum plus an employer contribution of 17% superannuation applies.

We are seeking a Part time (0.6FTE) fixed term position for a period of 2 years for an Administrative Officer to support the Unmanned Research Aircraft Facility.


The Administrative Officer is a member of the University's Unmanned Research Aircraft Facility (URAF), which is hosted by the Division of Research and Innovation.


Working under general direction from the Director, the Administrative Officer will provide support and assistance to the administrative and financial function of URAF.

Responsibilities include management of URAF financial and project agreements, organisation of training courses and oversight of procurement.


You will be the first point of contact for clients and partners, working with a wide range of stakeholders across a variety of industries and responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of URAF.


To be successful you will need:

  • Experience in managing financial matters, including developing costings/quotes, overseeing budgets and establishing contracts/agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of tasks efficiently and accurately.
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills including proven time management skills, the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
  • Well developed interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to work with a diverse range of people and cultures.
  • Ability to exercise judgement, use initiative and think ahead.
