The Role


FHR currently have PERMANENT opportunities for Trades Assistants to work for our national client based in Eagle Farm, who specialise in manufacturing and servicing buses.

Are you an enthusiastic, motivated, experienced trades assistant who loves working in a fast-paced and stimulating environment? New and modern facility with an outstanding safety record, offering a paid RDO every fortnight


Benefits:

***- $36.08/hour

  • 6am 3 pm Monday to Friday (9day Fortnight)
  • Paid RDO every fortnight
  • Direct permanent position
  • Start ASAP

Key Responsibilities
***- Pre-assemble vehicle components for later fixture

  • Support tradespeople, contractors and operators with general labouring assistance
  • Read and understand drawings
  • Operate hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing worksite
  • Fitting components onto vehicles

Skills & Experience
***- Ability to read and understand drawings

  • Previous experience as a trades assistant working alongside various tradespeople
  • Good hand and power tool knowledge
  • Physically fit and healthy for manual handling tasks
  • Must pass Drug & Alcohol testing
