About the Company
My client operates in the Process sector and has ambitious growth plans to become Australia's leader in their field.

With a core business and culture that's focused on safety, reliability and continuous improvement, they are looking for an experienced Asset Manager to join the operational team, based either in Melbourne or Brisbane.


The Role


In this Asset Manager role, you'll be accountable for the safe, efficient and reliable management of fuel storage terminals across Australia.


  • Manage a portfolio of asset management and maintenance programs
  • Provide expert advice on asset management strategies and practices
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
  • Oversee contract management and stakeholder engagement
  • Lead and manage a small team of maintenance personnel
  • Implement and maintain ISO55000 Series (Asset Management) as necessary
  • Monitor and analyse performance data to identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with others to optimise maintenance and asset management processes
  • Travel as required to various client sites across Australia

Skills and experience

  • Circa 10+ years of experience in asset management, with a focus on maintenance
  • Knowledge of contract management and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience managing a portfolio of maintenance programs
  • Familiarity with hazardous areas, preferably in the energy sector
  • Experience in major hazard facilities, ideally terminals or refineries
  • Engineering degree (various disciplines considered, mechanical preferred)
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience with ISO55000 Series (Asset Management), ideal
  • Experience with technical standards API Tanks (API 650) and/or Pipelines (AS2885), desirable
  • Ability to travel as required (1020% of the time, for short durations)
