The opportunity

Our highly valued client is a federal government agency, who are seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to analyse and document technical and functional requirements for systems, infrastructure, data and security.

Port Melbourne location
Daily rate range fully negotiable
12 month initial contract plus 12 month extension

The role

As a Systems Analyst your responsibilities will include:

Requirements elicitation, including interviews and workshop facilitation, process mapping and analysis, and use case development

- understand and document the unique requirements for their ICT environment
- ensure future changes consider ICT cyber security
- ensure data is appropriately classified and managed
- assist in clarifying roles and responsibilities for effective ICT support

Skills and experience

To succeed in this role you will need:

Proven experience eliciting required technical detail (requirements /system design) from various stakeholders, including those with mínimal ICT knowledge
Experience facilitating user interviews and developing business scenarios, process maps and use cases
Proven experience working autonomously in small and large teams
Highly effective time, workload, and priority management
Highly effective presentation, documentation, and communication skills
Handson technical knowledge of Windows based client server and cloud environments
Experience with delivery in an ITIL aligned organisation
Technical account management experience

Please note that this role is only open to Australian Citizens, and you must hold or be eligible to obtain a Baseline AGSVA security clearance.
