About the Role:

Our growing sales team is on the lookout for our first Sales Development Representative (SDR) in the APAC Market.

Join our VP of Sales and work closely with an experienced B2B SaaS sales leader and get on a fast track for an exciting career in cybersecurity SaaS sales, where rewards and career progression are directly linked to your drive and results.


Apart from the opportunity to learn from the best, a career in cybersecurity is a major plus, given the potential growth of the industry and the skill gap that HTB solution addresses.

Finally, you will be selling a well-established product - among cyber professionals - which is also highly non-commoditized. This will make your conversations more pleasant and a bit easier.

Focus:
Qualify prospective customers to drive interest to warrant a conversation with an Account Executive.

Goal:
First, qualify and book appointments through outbound methods. Second, increase the prospective customer base in CRM (Hubspot).


NOTE:
HTB is currently in process of establishing a business entity in Sydney, Australia.

Until the entity is created (during the first quarter of 2023) you'll be employed as a full-time contractor (40 hours/week).

After the entity is established, you'll be able to transition to direct employment.


Responsibilities:


  • Contact potential clients through various means of communication
  • Explore and identify client needs and match them with appropriate products/services
  • Qualify both inbound and outbound leads
  • Become a product expert and a brand ambassador for HTB for Business
  • Research, prospect and qualify leads
  • Develop with marketing and execute lead generation strategies to schedule a targeted number of appointments for the sales team

Requirements:


  • A good, positive attitude, along with a strong drive is a must
  • You are selfmotivated, resourceful with a cando attitude
  • Interest in progressing in a sales career path
  • Your verbal and written communication skills in English are excellent
  • You are comfortable talking to strangers and are an expert in making first contact and building valuable relationships
  • A university degree will be considered a strong asset
  • Some experience (36 months in an SDR role) with Sales in Tech, preferably in a SaaS environment will be a benefit, not a requirement though
