We are seeking a suitably experienced Digital Technology Support Technician to join our College Digital Technology team on a full-time ongoing basis.- Reporting to the Digital Support Team Leader, the Digital Technology Support Technician will contribute to the Digital Technology Team, more specifically the Maintenance and Support Team, by providing staff and students with support and assistance with operating digital technology and managing its continuous improvement.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Prioritise and resolve enquiries through the helpdesk ticketing system.
  • Provide ICT Support for staff and students.
  • Deliver and set up of ICT equipment for the college as required.
  • Support the Audio-Visual Team with campus performances and campus events including assemblies and masses.
  • Assist with the routine servicing and maintenance of ICT Systems to ensure it is in circulation and available for use.
  • Assist in maintaining stock records including equipment quantities, locations and items on loan.
  • Support the Digital Technology Team with projects, administration and other duties as required.
  • All other duties as directed by the College Executive Team in commensuration with the position's classification.
  • Understanding of computer technology software, systems, and hardware
  • Minimum of two years' experience in a Service Desk, Help Desk or ICT Support role.
  • Experience working with a variety of operating systems, including but not limited to Windows OS, Windows Server, Mac OS, and iOS.
  • Proficient with the operation of service desk ticketing systems
  • An understanding of ITIL processes
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Office 36
  • Relevant experience with MDM Intune/SCCM would be desirable.
  • Relevant degree or diploma would be highly desirable.
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
  • Interpersonal skills to relate professionally with students and staff.

  • Understanding of relevant compliance regimes
