About Us
Healthy Lifestyles Australia (HLA) has provided dietetic/nutrition, sports dietitian, exercise physiology and diabetes education services in Queensland for the past 12 years, currently servicing more than 130 rural and metropolitan medical centres and facilities including our head office facilities.
We specialize in chronic disease management and prevention, however can assist in a wide variety of cases (e.g. bariatric nutrition, disability nutrition, sports performance, aged care consultation, insurance work, public speaking, group education classes, etc).Our mission is to promote healthy lifestyles in the Australian population and to prevent and manage chronic disease through physical activity and nutrition.

About The Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a motivated and enthusiastic Accredited Dietitian (DAA) to become a part of a proactive company and work collaboratively with our other Dietitians, Exercise Physiologist, and Diabetes Educator along with other allied health and medical staff.
You will be working across medical centers, and allied health facilities within Brisbane, Ipswich, Somerset region with monthly visits to Mt Isa.
The successful applicant will be working on a full-time basis (5 days per week), and will be servicing medical centres and allied health facilities which have an established referral base.
Please note:
The successful applicant will be stepping into an existing workload of a staff member who is transitioning interstate.
Position will begin in March for training with official commencement beginning in April**-
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:_
- Provide evidencebased nutrition advice and treatment in the areas of chronic disease prevention and management
- Measure and assess the patients' diet history along with interpreting biochemistry and anthropometric data.
- Public speaking
- Travel to the required service delivery location and provide exemplary service to your clients. Drivers License and own car is required.
Skills and Experience
- Accredited (Provisional or Full) Dietitian through the Dietitians Associated of Australia (ESSENTIAL)
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain rapport.
Salary:
$ $40.98 per hour

- 8 hour shift
