Top base salary to $220k plus car

We are working with a Tier Two Construction company in Brisbane that has identified a need for an Engineering Manager working across their civil infrastructure projects in South East Queensland.


Typically these projects can range from $50m to $500m and the company has a reputation for delivering some of the best civil infrastructure projects in Queensland.

They are in a key growth phase and are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with a Design background to assist them in this.


As a Engineering Design Manager, you will work closely with the project teams and design consultancies and be heavily involved in all aspects of detailed design for projects including rail, civil and build.

You will be involved in the initial concept stage right through to construction working closely to ensure best practice design is in place during all stages of the design process.


You will liaise directly with clients, making concepts a reality that will involve a large range of stakeholders and consultants.

You should have proven strong client relations and a good network of consultancies that you have previously worked with.


Ideally, you will hold a Bachelor in Civil Engineering, Design or equivalent with a strong understanding of managing a design team and process.

You will have worked with large civil or building contractors and have managed project designs worth up to $100m in value.

Experience managing large civil road projects will be highly regarded.
