    Job Description

    Opportunity for a Senior Policy Officer to work with a well-known public sector organisation

    Morgan McKinley is excited to be partnering with a well-known organisation in the Public sector to recruit a Senior Policy Officer

    In this role you will;

    • Develop new policies, guidelines, and frameworks.
    • Review existing policies, guidelines, and frameworks to support the successful delivery of the organisation's strategy.
    • Implement policies with the sector and Regions
    • Respond to Parliamentary inquiries, Ministerial briefings, and correspondences.
    • Provide subject matter expert for social and affordable housing policies, guidelines, and frameworks.
    • Maintain and strengthen relationships across various internal and external stakeholders

    Candidate requirements/experience:

    • NSW Government experience desired
    • Familiarity with Aboriginal Housing Policy is beneficial
    • Proven prior experience developing and reviewing policy, guidelines and frameworks
    • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
    • Prior Parliamentary/Ministerial communications experience
