Purpose of Position:


The Intake and Administration Officer plays a pivotal role in our organization, serving as the primary point of contact for participant inquiries and facilitating the intake process efficiently.

This role involves managing administration tasks for NDIS programs and self-funded participants, ensuring seamless coordination and delivery of services.

This role will be job shared with the current administration officer, days of work will be Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Process payments, Medicare, and Private Health Insurance claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Liaise with Allied Health Professionals to facilitate smooth transitions for participants.
  • Assist participants in developing service agreements and ensure timely updates.
  • Manage NDIS Portal and client plan administration, including service bookings and claims processing.
  • Provide regular finance reports to senior management.
  • Maintain accurate participant databases and conduct file audits as needed.
  • Actively promote our services and engage with potential participants and external stakeholders.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with other service providers and contribute to the development of relevant group activities.

Key Selection Criteria:


  • Tertiary qualification in administration, finance, or commerce (Cert IV or greater).
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations and backgrounds.
  • Strong selfmanagement skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.

KPIs:


  • Respond to all initial inquiries within 1 business day.
  • Action all requests for support within 2 working days.
  • Maintain a professional atmosphere for all inquiries.
  • Complete all reporting accurately and within defined deadlines.
  • Adhere to Inspire Health & Wellness Centre's Policies and Procedures.

Other Requirements:


  • Working with Children Check.
  • NDIS Workers Check.
  • Police Check (including international check if applicable).
  • Experience in accounts, finance, or relevant role.
  • Experience with NDIS administration.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • No weekends

Experience:

Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)

  • Administration: 1 year (preferred)

Work Authorisation:

  • Australia (preferred)
