Customer Support Representative - Insurance/Claims Industry

About the Position:
We are hiring 9 dedicated Customer Support Representatives for our client's peak period. As a Customer Support Representative, you will deliver essential services to internal and external customers efficiently and seamlessly. Your responsibilities include handling call centre functions, transactions, premium collection, and managing closed claims workflows.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assess and collect premiums, meeting set Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Provide professional customer service, achieving key service levels in the Contact Centre.
  • Handle requests related to settled and closed claims promptly, ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Maintain accurate records to meet business requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with different teams to ensure seamless customer service delivery.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Adhere to records management policies and procedures.

About the Successful Applicant:


  • Previous administrative experience in insurance, with highvolume processing in a customerfocused commercial insurance environment and/or a call centre environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and interact effectively with customers and team members.
  • Ability to manage highvolume telephone calls professionally.
  • Highly developed customer experience skills, emphasising empathy, patience, and problemsolving.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Willingness to undergo preemployment checks (Police Check, Referencing, Interview and VEVO checks)
