The Role


We have a fantastic opportunity to join our team in this
Logistics Inventory Controller role at our bustling Richlands, QLD site.

The Logistics Inventory Controller is responsible for monitoring the accuracy and timeliness of all Full Goods transactions at the operational level, particularly ensuring the records accurately reflect physical inventory balances at all times.


Key Responsibilities

  • Physically manage the monthly Full Goods stocktake of Alcohol
  • Experience claiming remissions from the ATO
  • Coordinate cycle counts of Full Goods during the month for Alcohol
  • Import of spirits management from Port to DC
  • Offsite warehouse management
  • Analyse stock counting variances with a view to identifying and reporting cause(s) of variances.
  • Manage Stock Age through weekly reporting and conduct weekly meetings to avoid write offs.
  • Manage Out of Stocks by liaising with Local and National Planners along with Warehouse, Haulage and Distribution teams.
  • Ensure compliance to Quality, Environmental, Good Manufacturing (GMP), and HACCP practices as described by CCA procedures, work instructions and policies
  • Compile daily Low Inventory Report to be distributed throughout the Supply Chain Team.
  • Collate data for weekly S&OP Agenda and distribute to Managers.
  • Send out Daily Out of Stocks to Sales and Supply Chain Teams.
  • Regional and Metro returns logically returned via ECC
  • Load returns from Crossdock customer checked and received into the DC
  • Destruction loads management from customer relationship to arranging the shipment.

Skills and Experience

  • Applied knowledge of WHS (Workplace Health & Safety)
  • Applied knowledge of COR (Chain of Responsibility)
  • Knowledge of FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) appropriate warehouse processes
  • Detailed System knowledge & experience of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems)
  • Stock Rotation Principles FIFO (First in First Out)
  • Microsoft and SAP experience
  • Understanding of the wider supply chain processes & impact on stock availability
  • Organisational capability experience
  • Ability to Prioritise work loads to meet deadlines
