  • Duties & Responsibilities
Key HSE and Quality Responsibilities

  • Supporting the implementation of the Oceaneering HSE & Quality Core Processes and HSE & Quality objectives and Action Improvement plans;
  • Providing support for the Oceaneering Crisis Management Team, where required;
  • Involvement in the review and approval process for corporate and site Management System documentation;
  • Support & participate in HSE & Quality Audits;
  • Responsibility for his/her own health and safety and that of other persons affected by his/her activities; and
  • For managers and supervisors, actively leading HSE & Quality initiatives and demonstrating HSE & Quality leadership; and

HSEQ responsibilities may include:
- monitoring personnel
- recording and distributing safety information
- maintaining job specific documentation
- maintaining safety for a specific area
- other HSEQ responsibilities

Responsibilities and Key Performance Indicators

  • Support the Supply Chain Manager by utilising purchasing tools & techniques in line with the recognised best practice, legal and policy requirements.
  • Perform duties necessary to obtain supplies & services on the best terms quality, specification, cost & delivery in accordance with company policy.
  • Processing of requisitions and issuing of Purchase orders in the business, as per Supply Chain Purchasing processes.
  • Communicate with vendors for requests for quotes and ongoing communication as required.
  • Monitor expediting reports to ensure on time delivery requirements are met.
  • Improve supply chain relationships, for added value and competitive advantage.
  • Improve quality, through supplier selection and management, materials specification and quality management.
  • Ensure NCR process is followed and carried out as required.
  • Follow and assist with continuous improvement of purchasing processes and practices to ensure the value for expenditure on goods and services.
  • Involvement in supply chain strategy and approach, aiding towards global goals & objectives
  • Assist with any other duties as and when required.
  • Undertake specific projects as instructed by Supply Chain Manager.
