As the Head of Planning and Service Governance, you will ensure the Technology operations has the appropriate mix of ongoing governance, planning and optimisation activities to execute the organisations strategy within its funding and resourcing constraints.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of program, reporting, and service level management professionals.
- Lead and drive the Service Governance portfolio to ensure our service providers are delivering on obligations, and our internal KPIs are delivering the right customer outcomes.
- Lead and deliver managed service agreement renewal activities.
- Lead and deliver managed service provider transformation programs and ongoing service uplift activities.
- Be the single point of contact for all Managed Service amendment requests working with the business and our sourcing teams to ensure appropriate pricing and process inclusion.
- Own and drive the governance framework across the operations team to ensure effective vendor and internal governance.
- Lead the Planning function on behalf of Technology Service Operations and own the Long-Range Planning process.
- Lead the program delivery function on behalf of Technology Service Operations delivering strategic operations programs as committed to in Long-Range plan.
- Establish and foster links across the organisation and its stakeholders at strategic and tactical levels to support the Technology Service Operations strategy.
Knowledge and experience
- At least 10 years working in Technology with sound understanding of Network and IT solutions.
- At least 5 years managing governance.
- Experience managing regulatory and compliance in a Telecommunications environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven leadership qualities with a collaborative engagement style.
- Ability to adapt quickly, be a selfstarter, work effectively with multiple groups, and follow issues through to resolution.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to easily develop new relationships with both suppliers and colleagues.
- Ability to influence and build trust with senior leaders within TPG.
- Ability to build highperforming teams, maintaining shape and effectiveness through change.
