Penrith Panthers are looking for a motivated and energetic trainee to join our busy and friendly kitchen team.


We have an exciting opportunity for a trainee to develop their skills with a leading brand in the hospitality industry.

As a valuable member of our team, you will enjoy working with qualified and experienced mentors to assist you in the development of your skills.


Your Main Duties and Responsibilities for this traineeship will include:

  • Assist our chefs with food preparation and service;
  • Provide support with larder and fryer duties and progress to grill responsibilities;
  • Assist in the cleaning procedures to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen and;
  • Assist the chefs in catering for various functions and banquets across the club

Commitment required by the trainee:


  • Undertake a minimum of 100 days in paid employment and training.
  • Undertake SIT20322 Certificate II in Hospitality as part of their HSC.
  • The employment and training can be undertaken during school time, after school and during school holidays.
You will demonstrate a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a team.
