Description

IN A NUTSHELL

Since we launched with a range of six wallets 13+ years ago, we now release about 50 new products a year (give or take).

We're growing, and our Production team, (key to getting all of these products and those yet to come, out into the world) are on the search for someone to support them to get our products into the hands of our customers reliably, and with impeccable quality.

In this role you'll be responsible for quality-checking our products, providing feedback to our manufacturers, managing the workload in our test lab and organising deliveries from our HQ to our warehouse.

You'll be supporting our production team with administrative duties and working closely with our photography and wholesale teams to make sure they have the product samples they need on time.

There's a lot to keep track of, so you will need to be organised, logical and effective in your approach with the ability to make a plan and stick to it, ticking off your to-do list methodically.

You might not have a lot of experience in admin support, product quality control or inspection yet, but you're keen to learn and develop your skills.

While you know your organisation, communication and computer skills are strong, you also know you still have plenty to learn.

We're all about learning, so you'll fit right in here.

Bring your effective organisation, people skills and hunger to learn, in return, we'll offer the tools for you to do your thing, a world-class crew to learn from, and the support you need to flourish.

YOU COULD BE THE ONE, IF...

  • You want to develop your career in a quality control, production space and might have some experience in this space already
  • Have strong organisation skills, a sharp eye for detail and love a good spreadsheet
  • Enjoy working with your hands and getting a feel for the products you are assessing
  • Possess excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Can pick up potential issues or inconsistencies before they become a problem
  • Have an uncanny ability to understand the needs of those around you
  • Want to work collaboratively in a team within a fastpaced, agile environment
  • Think a workplace with dogs, coffee, breakout spaces, learning events and even a fireplace sounds pretty great to you

IF YOU WERE HERE LAST WEEK, HERE ARE SOME OF THE THINGS YOU MIGHT HAVE DONE

  • Inspected preproduction samples and prepared feedback for our suppliers based on your findings
  • Spoken with our photography and wholesale team to understand what samples you need to procure for them and when
  • Worked with the product development team to discuss potential issues in a new design
  • Instructed our warehouse teams how to inspect a new batch of products
  • Noticed an important delivery stuck in customs and found out what was needed to release it
  • Organised new products to be sent out from our HQ to the warehouse and followed up with our warehouse team to make sure they were processed in time for launch
  • Checked the weekly return reports for common issues that need more investigation
