We are working with a global organisation that are currently looking for a number of Peoplesoft Consultants that are Techno/Functional and have experience in Global Payroll, Absence Management and/or Campus Solutions.

All opportunities are open to people in Australia or NZ and even though all roles are fully remote - you need to be based in Australia or NZ - these are not open to people outside of Australia


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:


  • Work closely with customers on a daily basis to understand their needs, support business change and deliver a consistently highquality customer experience
  • Provide remotebased functional support & training for multiple PeopleSoft modules
  • Support client customizations, sharing implementation and best practices advice
  • Create scripts to identify, analyse and correct data issues
  • Provide handson assistance using proprietary tools in a test environment or via remote client connectivity
  • Collaborate with team members in a virtual team environment
  • Contribute to the development and management of knowledgesharing methodologies, diagnostic tools, and creative processes, to improve the client experience

Experience

  • 10+ years relevant PeopleSoft HCM experience, including Global Payroll and Absence Management and/or Campus Solutions
  • A track record of successful roles in several PeopleSoft projects.
  • Deep working knowledge and understanding of supporting business processes.
  • Analytical, logical problem resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of localizations: architecture, implementation, and key functionality.
  • Expertise with PeopleSoft on releases between 8.0 and 9.
  • Knowledge of maintenance/patching mechanics.
  • Understanding of PeopleSoft architecture.
  • Demonstrable history solving complex problems across multiple modules.

Skills

  • Passionate focus on customer support and the ability to build long term, successful working relationships with clients.
  • Excellent development skills using Application Designer, SQR, SQL, and PeopleCode.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communication skills verbal & written.
  • Experience with SQR, Application Engines, Integration Broker, PeopleCode/Application. Packages, COBOL, Component Interface, SQL and troubleshooting issues related to these products.
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally in high pressure situations.
  • Indepth knowledge of Global Payroll and Absence Management.
  • A consulting background, while not mandatory, would be useful.
  • Experience with localizations and global implementations would be an advantage.
  • Experience with other product lines and modules, (for instance, CRM and Campus Solutions,) is a bonus.
