About the Company:

With a team of experienced experts, Verterra is now looking to welcome a passionate and dedicated Operations Manager to take them to the next level by strategically managing operational matters to support the technical team, internal systems, and operational efficiencies.

The Opportunity:

Based in Brisbane, you will work closely with the Managing Director and senior managers to support technical staff, plan, develop and coordinate efficiencies across business growth including marketing, finance, sales, IT and human resources.

In addition to ensuring smooth operation of the business, you will bring a high level of business operations and commercial understanding.

You will be given the reins to implement strategies for overall improvement.

Monitor and analyse cost reporting and management systems to improve business output.
Coordinate the tendering and bidding process.
Liaise with Project Managers to improve financial, quality and operational synergy on individual projects.
Implement a performance tracking system to identify areas for improvement.

About You:

Prior experience managing business strategies, operations and growth.
Experience working within the engineering consulting industry would be advantageous.
Previous experience implementing strategic change.
