Climate & Sustainability (C&S) has been setup as a new division within CPM with a number of projects and opportunities in Biodiversity, Circular economy, Decarbonization, Energy Transition and ESG Strategy development across all industry sectors—to support our clients around the world.

Role Description


As the Sustainability Practice Leader, you will be in charge of the effective and professional planning and delivery of the Sustainability practice's day-to-day operations and core support processes, in close collaboration with our CPM Leadership Team and your colleagues in other divisions of CPM.

Key Responsibilities include.

  • Supporting the development of client climate change, sustainability and/or ESG strategies on individual projects, including agreeing project outcomes and ensuring their delivery by the project team.
  • Being a technical expert and promote innovation in a particular area of sustainability, such as waste, energy/carbon, water, responsible sourcing of materials, sustainable buildings, etc.
  • Being a proactive generalist, able to cover all major issues of sustainability with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Supporting work winning through bid support, innovation, and client liaison.
  • Supporting the drive for CPM to be a leader in climate change and sustainability.

About You

  • 68 years (or more) of relevant experience (preferably in a professional services environment); Master's degree preferred
  • Must have in depth Technical knowledge and experience in supporting clients on sustainability transformational journeys in areas such as Biodiversity, Circular economy, Decarbonization, Energy Transition and ESG Strategy development
  • A positive, highenergy, cando attitude and friendly communication style
  • Exceptional organizational, planning and project management skills; strong at conceptualization, followthrough, ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to independently resolve diverse problems and establish guidelines
  • Experience and success in leading and coaching others and leading (project or permanent) teams
  • Experience in multiple industries is preferable
