Description

Sunshine Home Support is seeking a reliable disability support worker to join our team in the Moreton Bay region.

As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals with disabilities in their homes or community settings.

This role requires a compassionate and caring individual who is committed to improving the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, medication management, and household tasks
Support individuals in participating in social and recreational activities
Promote independence and encourage clients to achieve their personal goals
Maintain accurate and uptodate documentation of client progress and any incidents
Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and other members of the care team
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the wellbeing of clients

Requirements:

Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for transportation
Possess a valid Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
Willingness to obtain NDIS Workers Module Certificate (National Disability Insurance Scheme)
Willingness to obtain First-Aid Certificate
Fully vaccinated
Flexible availability to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings
Live within Moreton Bay Region/surrounding areas
