We are looking for two proactive and service orientated individuals to support the school's functions through a range of processing and administrative tasks.

We currently have two positions on offer, a full-time and continuing role, and a full-time fixed-term 8-month contract.


The School Administration Officer will provide administrative support for Faculty Services (Faculty of Business and Law Schools Services Team) and services to Faculty staff to enable the delivery of faculty and university outcomes.


Your key responsibilities will include:


  • Providing support and advice in relation to administrative and operational matters to ensure the organisation and control of functions and resources in the faculty
  • A range of administrative tasks in line with university procedures and guidelines such as induction, space allocation, events and seminars
  • Providing secretariat support and coordination for committees, advisory boards and other regulatory functions as required in the faculty
  • Adhering to University governance, including work instructions, procedures and guidelines to enable and support the delivery of operations
  • Clarifying expectations and responding promptly to stakeholder requests, queries, or complaints to ensure stakeholder needs are met to agreed standards and timelines
  • Presenting information in a clear, structured, concise and tailored way by focusing on key messages and check that messages are understood and meet audience needs
  • Taking personal responsibility and showing initiative to meeting goals and objectives contributing to an inclusive team environment
  • Recognising the importance of teamwork and of effective communication amongst team members and building rapport within the immediate team in ways that are respectful and inclusive of others

To be successful, you'll have:


  • Completion of a Degree without subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • Completion of an Associate Diploma and at least two years subsequent relevant work experience; or
  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
