Shangri-La Sydney is for Reservations Centre Supervisor to join our team to assist in supervising all activities pertaining to the Reservations Centre operations.**

About the Role
Motivate the Reservations Centre team to excel in service delivery, optimize booking opportunities and promote customer retention and loyalty.

  • To constantly review task processes and staff productivity in ensuring that work standards are consistently met.
  • To handle staff scheduling and administrative report requirements. Including entering details of staffing into the system for payroll.
  • To take charge of the department in the absence of the Assistant Reservations Manager.
  • To provide handson training for staff on a continuous basis.
  • To coordinate department requirements with the respective internal departments.
  • To keep the Reservations Centre Manager informed of staff progress, operational changes, problems, complaints etc.
  • To help manage room availability across all distribution system to maximize sales opportunities and minimize regrets buildup.
  • To monitor call handling so that opportunities in call conversion/upselling are maximized.
  • To foster a high level of morale amongst the Reservations Centre staff.
  • To crosssell other Shangri-La and Traders properties.

About You

  • Exceptional customer service
  • Experience in Hotel environment in a Supervisory position
  • Knowledge of Opera PMS or similar reservation system
  • Be available to a work a full time rotational roster, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Rights to work in Australia
