Professional Floor Sander and Timber Floor Installer

Stadium Sports Surfaces provides proven Sprung Timber Flooring Systems to suit any venue, budget and needs.

For over 15 years Stadium Sports Surfaces have installed and maintained sprung timber flooring here in South Australia as well as Northern Territory and Western Australia, including SA's foremost indoor Sports Stadiums.

As the South Australian/Northern Territory distributor of ASF Horner our sprung timber sports floors provide industry leading systems.


Required Experience:

• At least two years floor sanding
• Basic Carpentry Skills
• Installation and repairs of timber flooring including topnailed and engineered floor boards.
• Experience with general power tools

Preferred Experience:

• Coating of timber floors.
• Experience using a rideon sander

• Current Open Drivers License (Class C)
• Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team.
• Excellent communication skills
• Good level of English
• Eager to Learn and improve skills

Job tasks and responsibilities:

• Drum Sanding
• Edging
• Fine sanding with hand sander, hand tools and buffer
• Sealing, Coating and painting
• Coating with oil and waterbased polyurethane.
• Moving and lifting large timber materials and machinery
• Installation of Solid and engineered timber flooring
• Repairs of floor boards
• Removal and installation of trims and skirtings
• Rubbish removal
• Vacuuming, cleaning and packing away tools
• Driving company van to job site
• Supervise Jobs

Salary:

$60, $70,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Adelaide Region SA
