Role Description
The successful applicants will be working closely with a team of pharmacists, dispensing medications for patients at Bendigo Health. Duties will include ordering, stock control, re-filling of stock on wards, assistance with dispensing and some clerical duties. Experience in hospital or community pharmacy is highly desirable, as well as competent computer skills and excellent interpersonal skills.


Applicants must have completed or be willing to complete the Hospital Pharmacy Technicians course - Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support.


The Team
The Pharmacy Department's core activities are central to medication supply, medication information and medication safety at Bendigo Health.

The Pharmacy team supports effective medication management by both hospital staff (doctors, nurses, allied health) and hospital inpatients, outpatients as well as to specific groups of community patients.

The Pharmacy Department services Bendigo Health except for residential services. All pharmacy services are managed from the hospital campus and incorporates services to the Anne Caudle Centre campus.

Ward pharmacists service Medical, Surgical, Orthopaedic, Intensive Care and Rehabilitation Wards and are available on a referral basis to other wards.
