The Role

Due to ongoing growth, Ventia are seeking experienced Leading Hand Electricians to join our Venture Smart team. The Electrical Leading Hand position is responsible for driving the frontline delivery of Electrical and ITS minor capital works projects to Main Roads Western Australia operated assets across the Western Australian metropolitan and regional areas.
This fulltime opportunity, based in Jandakot, WA, and is based on a 38 hour week, Monday to Friday with opportunities for overtime based on operational requirements.

Key duties, but not limited to

Delivery of minor capital works projects on Main Roads Western Australia assets
Upgrade and install assets such as Traffic control signals, switchboards and roadway lighting, electronic speed limit signs, help phones, CCTV, vehicle detection systems, Bluetooth travel time units and more
Preinstallation testing and commissioning of ITS equipment
Direct involvement with the construction phase of electrical assets across Main Roads Western Australia's contract

Skills and Experience

WA Driver's License MR or greater
Electrical Trade Certification (A Grade)
Experience in leading small teams
Experience in associated electrical and communication works associated with Intelligent Transport Systems (ITS)
Highly desirable
