We are looking for an enthusiastic
Information Security Analyst - Third Party Security to join our growing Information Security team in Sydney.

The Information Security team, led by the ING Australia CISO provides cyber security capabilities and consultancy to enable the entire organisation to be successful in a safe and secure way.


In this
newly created role you will report to the Information Security Advisory Lead and be responsible for managing third party security risk for ING Australia.


You will manage third party security risk by ensuring those third parties maintain appropriate controls to mitigate and meet ING Australia's information security requirements throughout their lifecycle.

What are you going to do? You will

  • Perform security due diligence and risk assessments against ING Australia's information security requirements, including evidencebased evaluation of controls;
  • Engage in contractual negotiation with suppliers and provide advice to colleagues in ING;
  • Work with other ING teams to formally log and track any issues identified throughout the lifecycle of a third party engaged by ING Australia;
  • Support the creation of ongoing reports related to third party security;
  • As required, liaise with colleagues in ING Australia and third parties to address any findings or issues;
  • Support the Information Security Operations teams in managing third party security incidents and vulnerabilities;
  • Promote awareness of third party security and related processes in the Technology business and across the broader ING Australia business.

What are we looking for? Someone who has

  • Good knowledge about Information Security and Supply Chain Risks.
  • Good knowledge of cyber security practices, risk assessments and compliance activities.
  • Strong learner with good stakeholder management skills.
  • Organised with strong analytical, research and advisory skills.
  • Good skills in preparing and presenting management reports and dashboards.
  • CISM accreditation is preferred.
  • Experience working with Third party security assessment tools (For e.g. CyberGRX, UpGuard etc.) is desirable
