A key player in the financial services industry with a clear plan for significant growth in the short-term, The Hopkins Group is seeking a highly motivated marketing generalist, leading a modestly-sized marketing team who delivers over and above on a regular basis.


OVERVIEW


The Marketing Manager ("MM") manages all areas of marketing for The Hopkins Group ("THG") and related brands and businesses, which includes managing digital marketing budget, planning and overseeing marketing events, managing website content, creating and organizing marketing collateral, coordinating campaigns, lead generation, coordinating communication to THG clients and marketing research.


REPORTING RELATIONSHIP


The Marketing Manager reports directly to the Managing Director and has a close working relationship with The Hopkins Group Leadership Team.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

With client experience and lead generation front of mind, the main responsibilities of the MM include, but are not limited to, the following:
Contribute to the preparation and execution of the THG Strategic Plan, including the marketing plan and quarterly campaigns
Active member of The Hopkins Group Leadership Team
Management of the Marketing business unit budget and the budget for specific projects, including analysis of results and advising on areas where improvement might be made
Develop and execute campaigns to support business unit initiatives and help them reach targets. This will include taking a lead role in the delivery of an exciting and significant campaign for a new target audience which is imminently due for launch
At all times be well presented, courteous, enthusiastic and professional
Mentor and manage the workflow of the marketing team, which currently includes a Marketing Coordinator and Content Producer, with a desire to employ a CRM administrator
Develop and prepare marketing proposals, strategies and campaigns (traditional, digital and social) with the various THG businesses, as required, and manage the execution thereof
Deliver communications to staff, the Leadership Team, the Executive Board and other stakeholders in relation to campaign launches, presentations, staff engagement and newsletters
Source and maintain strong business relationships with external stakeholders in order to achieve the highest quality service and outcomes at the best prices
Collaborate with business unit leaders to develop, implement and execute initiatives to continually improve the client and referral partner experience from lead generation to on boarding and ongoing management
Develop and implement client journeys and engagement initiative and nurture lead channels
Develop and execute initiatives to leverage from THG's CRM for effective campaign marketing

Manage the content calendar and, in conjunction with THG businesses, create relevant, regular and timely content in various formats including blog posts, social media, video production, white papers and brochures.

Manage, develop and implement initiatives to grow social media presence
Implement and manage SEO, SEM and Google AdWords analytics for online activities and business websites, suggestions for ongoing improvement and refinement of PPC and spend
Oversee the maintenance of all THG supported websites
Keep up to date and knowledgeable on digital and social marketing trends and topical property or financial matters
Comply with THG business systems and processes with regard to all activities
Be an active and punctual member and contributor to training, team meetings and firm wide activity, including events which may be outside of normal working times
Comply with the THG Style Guide and visual identity, and encourage its use and compliance with other staff members throughout THG
Comply with all policies and procedures regarding OHS
THE HOPKINS GROUP PHILOSOPHIES, GOALS & OBJECTIVES

A sound knowledge of the THG Communication Strategy, and the manner of how THG communicates to our audience, is essential
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE

Tertiary qualifications in Marketing and/or Communications essential
Minimum three years demonstrated success as a Marketing Manager or similar in a corporate environment (property or finance industry experience looked upon favourably, but not essential)
Demonstrated ability to not only manage, but also be hands-on in day-to-day execution
Demonstrated account time management experience essential in the management of conflicting demands, prioritisation and multi-tasking
Demonstrated experience in digital marketing, lead generation and project management
Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) (Salesforce highly favoured)
Demonstrated Social Media management and advertising experience in various platforms, including (but not limited to) Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube
Demonstrated design software experience, including Abobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
Innovative, highly motivated with the ability to work effectively in
