The Role


Looking to start your career within Design? This is your opportunity to assist in the development of the footwear range ensuring the quality is maintained through the development and production stages.


Please note that this is an initial 6 month contract

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with the Footwear Designer to develop range concepts
  • Attend fitting to ensure continuation of style development process
  • Attend all fit meetings and other associated meetings which will impact upon the range development
  • Select all trims for the range to be signed off by the Designer to ensure the look and values of the brand are maintained
  • Source, execute and design any creative, conceptual work required for presell or sell presentation to ensure clarity and consistency at all times
  • Conceptualise monthly storyboards in form of mood and colour
  • Sourcing & development of fabrics
  • Liaise with the suppliers to monitor the development, availability, leadtime and costs.
  • A tertiary qualification
  • Experience with illustration software packages
  • Experience having worked in a similar design led role in a fashion business would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to develop strong relationships internally and externally across the business
  • Extremely organized with great attention to detail
  • Works well within a collaborative team.
