Description:


We have an exciting opportunity for a Load Planner to join our team in Wetherill Park, reporting to the Confirmations Team Leader-NSW.


As a key member of the team, you will thrive in an environment where service, sales and customer solutions are paramount.

This role will see you responsible for ensuring that all goods are scheduled for despatch as per customers requirements in a safe and timely manner.


Some key responsibilities will include:

Build confirmed loads to maximise production capacity and to customer requirements.
Consult with Production Planners to ensure plant capacity is achieved.
Liaise with Customer Liaison Officer to ensure delivery requirements is confirmed for load build.
Liaise with internal or external customer clarify delivery requests.

Despatching goods while liaising with Logistics Coordinator to ensure a smooth, uncongested flow of deliveries including sufficient transport is available for all deliveries during troughs and peaks.

Liaise with Logistics Coordinator to schedule transport collection and deliveries to maximise payloads.
Whiteboard/Electronic displays to be maintained each day with next day's deliveries


This is to include:
Which drivers have been allocated to deliveries.
Time slots.
Driver attendance

Use ASA software tools to maximise efficiency to build loads and create detail loading dockets.

Previous experience within a similar role
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Calm and respectful under pressure with a positive, can-do attitude
Strong attention to detail
A quick learner with the ability to multi-task
Excellent computer skills and ability to pick up new systems quickly
Team player
