Workshop & Field

Purpose of Role:

_ _Engage in workshop and site based fitting duties to all forms of rotating & processing equipment such as pumps and centrifuges.


Based out of Beresfield and servicing mine sites across the Hunter Valley region, you will be an integral part of the Beresfield team.


  • Monday
  • Friday roster
  • Overtime and weekend work available
  • Allowances for site work and travel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Completing repairs on critical equipment, including strip and assembly, assessment and reporting and machine maintenance.
  • Carry out all tasks in accordance with the Service Centre Quality Manual.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to current products, services and procedures.
  • Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Cert III
  • Mechanical Engineering/Fitting & Turning
  • Experience working as a Mechanical Fitter in a workshop or onsite
  • Experience working on Pumps, Crushers, Valves, Conveyors is desirable
  • Well developed written and verbal communication skills
  • High Risk Fork lift ticket preferred
  • Overhead crane & doggers ticket highly desirable
