About the role:


We are currently recruiting an experienced and highly capable
Safety and Compliance Superintendent that
wants to work in the mining sector with a well-established and growing mining enterprise.

This position offers challenging and varied work for you to bring your mine site health and safety exposure to. You will drive the development and implementation of health, safety and compliance with a strong focus on critical risk.


About you:


You will possess Tertiary qualifications in health and safety with exposure to OH&S systems and frameworks within the open cut mining industry.

You will also have strong communication skills and be able to work with a wide range of stakeholders such as land holders, mining operations, management, etc.

This will be complemented with a solid working knowledge of the coal mining act and experience working in similar roles across open cut coal operations and at least 3 years leadership experience in an similar operational environment.
