Plant Operator / Trades Assistant x 4.

REQUIRE:


Essential:

Plant Operator tickets.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

-
Use of machinery to assist fabricate and install pipeline and associated systems, primarily HDPE, but also including polypropylene, PVC's and other materials as required
:

-
Fabrication methods include butt welding (high + low pressure) electrofusion, extrusion, mechanical connections and chem. fusions
:

-
Participate in various tasks revolving around civil, construction and industrial plumbing jobs / projects
:

-
Assist in performance and reporting on hydrostatic pressure testing methods, having gained a good understanding of different test types, formulas, and criteria
:

-
Perform mechanical tasks including valve work, hydrants, flanging, pits and various other connections / services
:

-
High regard for QA and compliance, familiar with applicable codes and standards
:

-
Be open to new direction and fresh ideas within the industry as deemed feasible by management
:

-
Participate in training, up skilling, conferences, exhibitions etc as deemed to be of benefit to the company
:

-
Portray behaviour that inspires confidence in project team and respect from the client
:

-
Ultimately you will work towards being confident to run small to medium size jobs (with assistance and support) with labourers or a sub level welder under your instruction
:

-
High level of attention to detail with advanced awareness of safety and environmental matters:

Problem solver, decision maker and good at thinking on your feet
:

Efficiency with paperwork, reporting and time management
:

-
Multiple tickets and inductions for quick response to client and associated tasks
:

Willing to go the extra mile for betterment of self and company reputation (considering OT, weekend work and implementing high levels of workmanship and service etc)
