In the role of Finance Coordinator you will coordinate and monitor the provision of timely, accurate and relevant costing and financial services

Accountabilities include:

Contribute to the preparation of various financial reports, business forecasts and operating statements. Evaluate the ongoing effectiveness of Departmental costing and financial practices and to carry out internal financial compliance audits. Coordinate and monitor the internal costing, accounting (general ledger, assets, accounts receivable, and accounts payable) and financial operations. Ensure approved accounting practices and procedures are being applied. Coordinate the end of month processing and financial reporting. Coordinate reviews of operations for compliance and continuous improvement opportunities. Assist and provide advice to management on financial issues relating to costing systems and procedures and allocation of costing resources. In consultation with management, recruit, train and develop costing resources in Departmental and RoadTek financial and procurement practices. Provide advice on financial issues relating to costing systems and procedures. Liaise with product management and recommend improved financial policies and practices.

This position reports to the Operations Manager.

Mandatory requirements:

Valid Queensland 'C' class driver's licence or equivalent.
