The team at RPM Tingalpa have everything they need to carry out their work: Car-O-Liner welding, pulling and measuring equipment; speed benches; 2-post lift; floor rack; dust extractors; two Lowbake paint ovens; Glasurit refinishing products; and good, clean working conditions.

They work together as a team, and share free BBQ and pizza lunches every month.

The site is easy to access from public transport and the Gateway Motorway (M1), with room for staff parking.


The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a reliable and proactive Automotive Trades Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Permanent position. Monday to Friday. 7.30am to 4.30pm.

Role Responsibilities

  • Organize vehicles and parts efficiently to streamline the workflow for the panel and paint shops.
  • Assist in the movement of vehicles within the workshop, ensuring they are positioned for optimal accessibility.
  • Coordinate with the production team to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Support the quality control area during peak times by performing inspections and assisting with any necessary rework.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of tasks.

Does this sound like you?

  • Previous experience in a similar role within the automotive or manufacturing industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
  • Current QLD driver's licence
