The Donash Education Centre is a leading and successful education establishment in South Australia, supporting three leading tuition institutes - Tutors SA, STEM Centre Australia and MedPrep.

At Donash, we teach and mentor students from Reception - Year 12 students as well as tertiary students.

We have more than 650 enrolled students overall, and more than 45 highly passionate, qualified and experienced teaching staff from various fields.


We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Customer Care Assistant to provide high level customer service and support in administrative, centre operation tasks at the centre on a part time basis.

MedPrep offers UCAT courses targeting the preparation for admissions test conducted by the UCAT ANZ Consortium of universities in Australia and New Zealand for their medical, dental and clinical science degree programmes.


Who are we looking for?

  • Demonstrate that they can provide superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders (tutors, students, parents, team members)
  • Demonstrated ability to handle facetoface and phone enquiries, feedback and/or complaints
  • Follows workplace procedures and systems effectively.
  • Advanced level in MS Office, especially in MS Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Highly reliable and flexible
  • Pleasant personality with high standards of customer service in mind
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Quick learner, capable of efficiently multitasking and be proactive
  • Able to make quick and sensible decisions in critical situations

Responsibilities

1. Customer Care tasks

  • Be the first point of contact for all initial enquiries from parents and students about courses, enrolments, initial assessments, classrooms and locations.
  • Support parents and students with policies, fee payments and feedback/complaints.
  • Coordinate and liaise with tutors to ensure accurate student attendance
  • Handle any class cancellation/ replacement class request

2. Supporting tutors

  • Assist to arrange relief tuition when required.
  • Support tutors with course material printing, scanning and filing of documents
  • Assist tutors with Technology setups prior to online classes.
  • Facilitate the Initial Assessment process for Reception
  • Year 10 students:
  • Administering and scoring assessments
  • Providing results updates
  • Communicating results to the operations team

2. Administration tasks

  • Maintain a tidy reception area
  • Opening and closing the centre and ensure a welcoming environment
  • Monitor stock level for books and stationeries

Role and work hours:


minimum of 15 hours will be allocated during the following time frames.
Thursdays 4.00pm - 9:00pm: 5 hrs

Saturdays 8:30am -1:15pm: 4.75 hrs

Sunday 9.15am pm: 7.5 hrs

hrs per week approximately)_

This job description covers most of the expected tasks for the role.

Any other related tasks may come up and assigned to the staff from time to time, in which the staff member will be informed in advance.
