The Role

Our Port Melbourne site is not only the home of Vegemite it is also the home of other Australian iconic products, such as Bega Peanut Butter, Bega Simply Nuts, Zoosh and Cream Cheese.

Reporting to Manufacturing Manager, this role will work within the Logistics area.

This role is to ensure the inbound and outbound movement of materials occurs in an effective, efficient, and timely manner and for delivering product safely, of the highest quality, at the lowest cost, with mínimal waste in the correct quantity when it is required.

Responsibilities:

Receiving materials via our truck dock
Receipting in materials into our ERP, M
Labelling materials accurately with the receipted item and lot details
Putting stock away within the designated storage locations.
Cycle counting materials as required in Factory Track
Operating an automated palletising robot to relieve for breaks

About you- Experience in a manufacturing /warehouse environment is desired- Strong forklift driving skills and warehousing experience to support the manufacturing lines- Mechanical mindset with basic computer literacy skills- Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn- Problem Solving Skills
