About the role

Are you passionate about creating a safe and positive environment for a diverse community? Lutheran Homes Group is seeking a dedicated Safety and Wellbeing Lead to enrich our organisation, which includes three residential aged care sites, independent living units, and a corporate office.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and monitor robust safety systems tailored to our unique environment.
  • Provide strategic and operational advice to maintain an optimal balance between risk and control.
  • Champion a culture of safety and wellbeing across all levels of the organisation.
  • Educate leaders and employees on the importance of proactive hazard and incident management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
  • Champion a culture of wellbeing through the design and implementation of a wellbeing program and initiatives.
About you

You understand safety processes and frameworks and have the skills to engage and influence senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure we embed a culture of safety and maintain compliance with relevant legislation.


You have a strong understanding of fostering positive and safe work environments and proactively respond to incidents in a measured way.

Above all, you are passionate about safety and wellbeing, and will ensure our organisation has effective safety practices in place.
