About the role

Are you passionate about creating a safe and positive environment for a diverse community? Lutheran Homes Group is seeking a dedicated Safety and Wellbeing Lead to enrich our organisation, which includes three residential aged care sites, independent living units, and a corporate office.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, implement and monitor robust safety systems tailored to our unique environment.
Provide strategic and operational advice to maintain an optimal balance between risk and control.
Champion a culture of safety and wellbeing across all levels of the organisation.
Educate leaders and employees on the importance of proactive hazard and incident management.
Drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
Champion a culture of wellbeing through the design and implementation of a wellbeing program and initiatives.

About you

You understand safety processes and frameworks and have the skills to engage and influence senior leaders and stakeholders to ensure we embed a culture of safety and maintain compliance with relevant legislation.

You have a strong understanding of fostering positive and safe work environments and proactively respond to incidents in a measured way.

Above all, you are passionate about safety and wellbeing, and will ensure our organisation has effective safety practices in place.
