We are looking for highly motivated Heavy Duty Fitter to be part of a busy and diverse team whilst gaining and developing your experience and knowledge on CAT machinery and systems.


This permanent role will see you working autonomously as well as part of a team providing ongoing customer support on our traditional Caterpillar mining and construction fleet.

You will be directly working with the customer to provide maintenance solutions and warranty support when required.


Location:
FIFO from Perth to Solomon mine site.


Roster:2 week on, 1 week off roster - 12 hour days.


To be successful the following is required:

  • Australian Recognised Heavy Duty Mechanical Trade Qualification.
  • Previous experience with mining equipment.
  • Caterpillar product knowledge and maintenance experience.
  • A positive attitude towards safety and exposure to safe work practices and systems.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
  • A passion for learning new skills.
  • The ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously.
  • Current C Class Licence (HR preferred).

Desirable:


  • Current Forklift Licence.
  • Elevated Work Platform.
  • Dogging & Basic Rigging.
  • Working at Heights, Confined Spaces.
