My client is a company that is a platform utilised to pay freelancers and contractors without the worry of tax and compliance.

They are expanding on their Sydney side of their team. This is an Engineering Manager role. The role can pay up to $185,000 plus super depending on experience. This role is a remote in Australia role.


About the role:

  • Management and leadership of engineers and their teams.
  • Making improvements to the Engineering practice to ensure measurable impact as the company grows.
  • Create an environment where engineers are able to deliver consistent, high quality and scalable content.
  • Coaching and mentoring the team, as well as creating professional development plans.
  • Grow and help to recruit the engineering team that aligns with the company cultures.
  • Collaborate within the wider business to deliver best outcomes,

About you:

  • Experience in working commercially with latest Ruby on rails versions.
  • Prior experience in a high lead capacity in a fast paced company.
  • Flexible with change and a desire to achieve the best within an evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Bring your own great ideas to the business, be goal driven as well as making those ideas a reality.
  • Have great collaboration skills and the ability to build strong, lasting relationships with technical and non technical staff and stakeholders.
