Goals

Tasks

  • Managing assigned sales projects / customers and ensure growth of the component business in Australia
  • Project leading, coordinating and handling of inquiries and sales projects for all products in the product portfolio in the area of "Component Services" in cooperation with group sales
  • Calculating of component MRO proposals and related business plans in accordance with all involved stakeholders (internal & external)
  • Taking responsibility of sales targets
  • Promoting comprehensive supply concepts to customers
  • Negotiating contracts in accordance with business unit requirements and adjust or revise scope of such contracts
  • Preparing, scheduling and execution of customer visits
  • Monitoring and analyzing of competitors and industry trends, initiation of required measures to protect and extent existing business
  • Ensure the provision of services (according to the contract), identify improvement potential and develop measures for optimization together with the business units, and develop and implement measures to increase customer satisfaction
  • Performing special tasks, participating in projects or leading them
  • Participating in marketing and customer events (e.g. Conferences, Exhibitions, etc.)
  • All other duties as assigned or required**_

Requirements:


  • University or technical college degree, preferably in Engineering or Business Administration
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience within Sales or Customer relations (e.g. component services, material service or experience in technical customer service), preferably in the field of aviation maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) or similar technical services
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • Knowledge of another language or German is advantageous
  • Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel)
  • High degree of intercultural competency
  • Excellent customer service skills with customeroriented attitude, and a strong ability to build close relationships with customers
  • Like working with people, solving problems, and developing yourself by being challenged in your daytoday work
  • Ability and selfdriven motivation to adapt and solve complex challenges and new ways of business
  • Possess a strong character with the distinction to develop and drive business and customer relationships forwards
  • Ability to represent Lufthansa Technik in a consistent and professional way
  • Able to travel to Germany, Asia and extensively within Australia and Pacific
