Who are we looking for?
Product Managers have a seat at the table at Jumbo. Our main goal is to improve the experience for the end-users of our products.
- focus on problems and are outcome focused
- have autonomy to own the solution
- are enabled by tools like full story and amplitude to discover insights and measure in a leading way
- dive deeper with customer interviews when needed.
- are surrounded by intelligent and motivated product designers, developers, product marketers and other PMs to learn and grow with.

What will you be doing?
The Product Manager (PM) is responsible for prioritising what opportunities designers and engineers should solve next. This is achieved by analysing data and communicating with stakeholders, clients and players and to understand and refine problems.

You will oversee ideas from their inception, all the way through the development phase. Once implemented, you will get to measure success using world-class software.

As part of your role, you will:

  • Facilitate solution shaping, making sure teams understand the problem and appetite. De-Risk the solutions and make sure enough time is given for shaping.

  • Communicating

  • Teams, clients and stakeholders understand priorities, problems, solutions, plans, changes, go to market strategy and risks

  • Ownership over outcome

  • Sets benchmarks before work starts and aligns the team's solution to a problem. Regular checkins and measures outcome when finished.

  • Product Quality

  • Champion postincident review and quality mindset. Make time for tech debt and improve the product process.
  • Use a range of product discovery techniques to help teams understand how to solve a problem and the risks involved. Ensure the team is always focused on the desired outcome, not a particular solution. Make sure the solution the team comes up with scales with our platform's systems.
  • Communicate progress and changes to internal and external stakeholders so everyone is kept in the loop, so requests and expectations are managed.

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of Product Management experience with a good record of successful products, including an understanding of incremental delivery of value
  • An outcome focused mindset with the ability to work under pressure
  • Experience with Agile/Lean digital product development processes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship building skills across diverse teams
  • Ability to think logically in solving assigned business problems and to communicate findings with clarity
  • Highlevel organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, and manage a varied workload in a complex and busy environment under mínimal supervision
  • Strong understanding of technology. Able to understand and add value to conversations with developers.
  • Strong understanding of user experience and customer research concepts. Able to understand and add value to conversations with product designers.
  • Surface level understanding of business concepts like Marketing, Finance, Sales and Data analytics. Able to understand and add value to conversations with stakeholders.
