About the Role:

This a genuinely fascinating career opportunity for an ambitious Health & Safety professional. A commercial builder who is one of the more progressive and modern players in the building game. They are seeking an organised Health & Safety Officer to join the team.

You will be site-based reporting to the Site Manager on one of their high-spec luxury apartment projects situated within 20 clicks of Melbourne.

• Your _

_day-to-day tasks_:

- will include, but are not limited to:_

• Site inspections and audits to identify and rectify safety breaches and potential hazards.
• Attend and contribute to the site safety committee meetings and follow up on agreed actions.
• Induct all trade contractor site personnel and site personnel in sitespecific requirements.
• Monitor and update (SWMS) all safety records and ensure filing is kept up to date.
• Promote safe work practices during the Construction process

About You:

• Minimum of Cert IV in OH&S & Level 2 First Aid Certificate
• 2 + years of onsite experience in an HSE/WHS/OHS capacity on commercial/residential construction projects
• Understanding and knowledge of HSEQ processes on site
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with all sitebased staff and develop a culture of safety
• Familiar with HSEQ management software
