About the role:


Our client, a well-established development and asset management firm is looking for an experienced property manager to manage the performance of a mixed portfolio of retail, commercial and industrial assets.


Duties:


  • Ensure property maintenance is carried out as appropriate and tenants maintain the property as required
  • Complete annual property inspections to determine capital works, R&M requirements and make recommendations as necessary
  • Manage leasing processes, making recommendations on new tenants and leases, rent reviews, lease renewals and other variations as required
  • Prepare annual income and expenditure budget, prepare monthly reports and issue monthly rent accounts and monitor rent arrears
  • Ensure sites are managed to reduce future liabilities including compliance with WHS legislation

The skills and experience required for this role:

  • 10+ years' experience in a property management role or similar
  • Familiarity with the Property Occupations Act 201
  • General Facilities Management knowledge and trades required on site
  • Strong financial acumen, including budgets and forecasting
  • Ability to communicate with all stakeholders
